The project focuses on a fit-to-standard approach, minimizing customizations and aligning with S/4HANA’s standard configuration. Key efforts include defining requirements for the upgrade and supporting business process re-engineering.

Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Acquire-to-Retire (A2R) Consultant to lead the Requirements Gathering, Business Process Re-engineering, and Configuration efforts within the client’s Asset Management and Accounts Receivable operations. Responsibilities include:
- Leading requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders, documenting as-is processes, and defining to-be processes for Acquire-to-Retire (A2R) in SAP S/4HANA. Bi-weekly travel to Rosslyn, VA for 4-6 weeks may be required.
- Conducting fit-gap analysis to identify process alignment opportunities, minimizing customizations while ensuring compliance with financial and asset management requirements.
- Facilitating business process reengineering (BPR) sessions to improve asset lifecycle management, depreciation processing, and AR workflows.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (FI/CO, MM, PM, and Treasury) to ensure seamless integration of SAP Asset Accounting (AA), Project Systems (PS), and AR.
- Designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP A2R processes in S/4HANA to support asset acquisition, capitalization, retirement, and receivables management.
- Establishing asset master data standards, depreciation keys, and posting rules to support accurate financial reporting.
- Optimizing asset tracking, reconciliation processes, and integration with maintenance planning and execution.
- Configuring reporting and predictive analytics within SAP to enable data-driven asset and receivables decisions.
- Developing functional design documents (FDDs), configuration workbooks, and test scripts.
- Supporting data migration strategy for A2R processes, ensuring data readiness and alignment with the S/4HANA framework.
- Participating in strategic planning and governance discussions related to ERP modernization, providing insights into organizational change management (OCM) and user adoption.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP A2R process design, configuration, and implementation with expertise in SAP Asset Accounting (AA), AR, and integration with FI/CO, PS, PM, and Treasury.
- Proficiency in SAP Fiori applications for asset management and receivables processing.
- Proven experience with S/4HANA implementations. Deep knowledge of S/4HANA A2R capabilities, preferably within the federal government or A&D sectors.
- Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Public Sector, or government regulated industry experience (i.e.: Aerospace & Defense) experience required. Army or Navy experience is preferred.
- Occasional travel to Rosslyn, VA may be required for workshops, typically 2-3 days onsite every two weeks.
- Interim or Active Secret Clearance Required. (Clearance sponsorship for US citizens with relevant experience may be available on a case by case basis.)
