Credence has an immediate need for a Journeyman Logistics Manager supporting our Weapons Superiority Division Missile and Weapons at Robins AFB, GA Warner Robins.

The Journeyman Logistics Manager shall apply the knowledge and experience to provide acquisition logistics support associated with armament systems and associated support equipment. Shall have the knowledge and experience to develop life cycle logistics documents, such as the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan.

Perform logistics support activities and apply knowledge and experience in annual resource allocation forecasting processes wherein assessments are gathered and recorded. Be familiar with OCONUS travel preparation and policies and have the capability and willingness to travel overseas to potentially hazardous locations.

If appointed by the organizational commander or designated representative, the Contractor shall assume the role of primary or alternate Customer Authorization/Custody Receipt Listing (CA/CRL) equipment custodian.

Perform equipment custodian duties, IAW AFI 23-101.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
  • Maintaining required training, managing assets under their control, performing inventory inspection, submitting allowance change request, validating authorizations, reporting excess authorizations, ensuring items are on-hand and serviceability/condition is properly recorded, identifying critical requirements through functional area managers, and conducting annual floor-to-book and book-to-floor inventory of assigned equipment account.
  • Plan, evaluate and implement program acquisition strategies;
  • Develop and manage program schedules and program plans;
  • Coordinate with customers across multiple services and commands;
  • Provide knowledge and experience in funding, forecasting, programming, and budgeting using new and existing databases and software; maintaining cognizance of the status of approved, deferred and released funds;\
  • Provide knowledge and experience in performing various cost estimating activities in support of all program phases including, but not limited to, most probable cost estimates; cost analyses concurrent to the acquisition process; economic analyses; and probabilistic cost, schedule, technical, and programmatic risk assessments


In addition, FMS positions shall:
  • Provide support to budgeting processes include Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case
  • development/closure and Integrated Weapons System Management processes
  • Achieve Defense Institute of Security Cooperation Studies (DISCS) FMS Level II
  • equivalence within one year through mission unique training provided by the
  • Government
Education, Requirements and Qualifications
  • Active Secret Security clearance
  • One of the following Education/Experience criteria must be met:
    • BA/BS, ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD
    • Fifteen years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Job Responsibilities, five of which must be in the DoD.
  • Willingness to travel if required.
