Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Project Manager to oversee and manage complex IT and cybersecurity initiatives. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing and executing detailed project plans, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards. This role requires strong analytical, leadership, and risk management skills to drive successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project goals are aligned.
  • Identify potential risks related to cybersecurity initiatives and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate meetings, provide clear communication, and track project milestones.
  • Ensure all team members understand and execute their responsibilities effectively.
  • Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and oversee risk mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior leadership, including risk assessments and compliance reports.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, risks, and deliverables.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to technical, contractual, financial, and administrative requirements.
  • Supervise project personnel, assign responsibilities, and ensure successful completion of all assigned tasks.
  • Interface with end users, computer services, and client services to ensure project success.
  • Manage vendor tasks, track vendor deliverables, and ensure project integration.
  • Analyze and provide solutions to project-related challenges, exercising independent judgment and a high level of analytical skill.

Qualifications:
  • Certification: PMP or FAC/PPM equivalent required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT or cybersecurity.
  • Security Clearance: U.S. Citizen, Public Trust with a Position Sensitivity Level of High-Risk IT.
  • Background Check: Successfully adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience managing cybersecurity or IT infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Physical and Mental Qualifications:
  • Maintain focus and awareness throughout scheduled working hours.
  • Perform tasks requiring prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk, utilizing a computer, mouse, and keyboard.
  • Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds as needed.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Quickly learn and retain routine tasks and processes.
  • Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, business correspondence proficiency, and self-management capabilities.
