CONTINGENT CONTRACT AWARD
The locations will depend on the travel to the various CONUS and OCONUS government sites as needed to ensure success.
CONUS: Springfield, VA; Joint Base McGuire, Dix, Lakehurst, NJ; Devens, MA; Laurel, MD; College Park, GA, Orlando, FL, San Antonio, TX; Fort Sheridan, IL; Phoenix, AZ; Fayetteville, NC
OCONUS: Southern Command, Indian and Pacific Command, Central Command, African Command, Northern Command, and European Command.
The Team Lead, Project Manager will be responsible for the performance of work and will act on all contract matters relating to the daily operations for Army MIRC. The Team Lead, Project Manager shall oversee the successful execution of the critical mission.
Nature and Scope of Work: Provide Senior IT engineering, IT administration, and complex PED program management (PM) services for complex systems of systems architectures operating across the intelligence community and operational theatres supporting National, Joint, and Tactical level intelligence operations and domains.
Key Duties:
Oversee the successful execution of a critical Department of Defense (DOD) contract.
The management support will be responsible for leading a team of 30 full-time and one
organizational and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of project
management methodologies and DOD contracting processes.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and
resource allocations to ensure successful contract delivery.
• Coordinate and oversee the work of cross-functional teams, including
technical staff, subject matter experts, and support personnel.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and
implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable DOD regulations, policies, and
contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of 29 full-time employees, fostering a
collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Conduct regular team meetings, provide guidance and direction, and
ensure clear communication of project goals and expectations.
• Manage personnel assignments, workloads, and performance evaluations
to optimize resource utilization and team productivity.
• Identify training and development opportunities for team members to
enhance their skills and professional growth.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the DOD client, maintaining
open and effective communication channels.
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings, presentations, and progress reviews
with the client and other stakeholders.
• Manage client expectations and address concerns or issues in a timely
and professional manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and partners to
ensure seamless project integration and delivery.
• Thoroughly understand and interpret the terms, conditions, and
requirements of the DOD contract.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including
deliverables, milestones, and performance metrics.
• Manage contract modifications, change requests, and scope adjustments
in coordination with the contracting officer.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including
status reports, risk registers, and other contract-related records.
• Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and
forecasting resource requirements.
• Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost
savings and optimization.
• Prepare and submit financial reports, invoices, and other contractual
documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure adherence to accounting principles and financial compliance
requirements.
Must have an active PMP certification. (project management professional certified).
Must have 10 years of project management experience.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with a deep understanding of project management methodologies.
Bachelor's of Science in Information Technology and or Computer Science.
Security Requirements:
Requires Top Secret/SCI government clearance.
Requires Secret government clearance.
Requires Counterintelligence(CI) polygraph and must maintain the level of clearance.
Preferred Army MIRC experience
