Overview
Intelligent Waves is seeking a Flight Data Analyst to support mission-critical operations by managing and analyzing flight and mission data. This role involves collecting, processing, and archiving real-time, post-flight, and truth data, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of essential information. The analyst will also troubleshoot data integrity issues and resolve network malfunctions to maintain seamless data operations.
As a Flight Data Analyst, you will be responsible for aircraft media management, including maintaining inventory, formatting media, and validating flight data for operational use. You will work closely with Pilots, Intelligence personnel, and Analysts, conducting Aircrew Mission Debriefs and serving as the primary point of contact for user support, application training, and issue resolution.

Location: This Flight Data Analyst position is based at Eielson AFB, Alaska.
Travel: Must have ability to travel as needed. This position may also be deployed from 30-90 days for strategic efforts.

Responsibilities
- Data Management & Processing:
- Collect and process various types of data, including real-time, post-flight, and truth data.
- Perform data pre-processing (cutting data), data reduction, archiving, and ensure all data deliverables are met.
- Troubleshoot missing data and malfunctioning network systems to maintain data integrity.
- Aircraft Media & Flight Data Handling:
- Maintain aircraft media inventory, perform media formatting, and ensure media availability for flight operations.
- Ingest, catalog, and validate flight data for operational use.
- Mission Support & User Assistance:
- Set up and conduct Aircrew Mission Debriefs with Pilots, Intelligence personnel, and Analysts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all users accessing the system and its data, providing:
- Operational support
- User training on applications
- Issue identification and resolution
- Technical Documentation & IT Support:
- Develop customized procedures and user guidance for specific IT tasks.
- Set up and deploy essential servers for temporary duty (TDY) and deployment operations.
Qualifications
- Possess an IAT Level II certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M (e.g., Security+ CE [MCSA]).
- Strong customer service skills, with experience in field service roles.
- Experience identifying deficiencies in processes and implementing improvements.
- Understanding of general aviation procedures and regulations.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, shift work, and overtime as needed to support mission requirements.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally, including CONUS and OCONUS deployments.
- Ability to travel on both military and commercial aircraft.
- Ability to organize and compile data as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Background in aviation.
- Familiarity with Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) regulations and operating procedures.
- Understanding of Teletronics Corporation (TTC) hardware and software.
- Experience working with communications protocols, including:
- Fiber Channel, MIL-STD-1553, IEEE-1394, CAIS Bus (Common Airborne Instrumentation System Bus), RS-485
- Familiarity with Active Directory management on Windows systems.
- Knowledge of VMware, Horizon View, Hadoop, Isilon, and SAN storage systems.
- Experience with hardware and/or software programming
