The successful candidate demonstrates subject matter expertise in building and maintaining genuine client relationships through business development, consultative engagements, strategic planning, and thoughtful go-to-market insights. This candidate proactively manages renewals and net new tenants while maintaining high customer satisfaction and engagement.

Location: Remote with some travel required.
Experience: 3+ years’ related work experience in account management, or sales within B2B, tech, or Cybersecurity sectors and proficiency with HubSpot.
Clearance: Must be US citizen clearable for a DoD Secret clearance. No clearance required to start.
Salary Range: $80,000 plus commission and benefits.
Related Experience Should Include:
• A proficiency in Cyber compliance and Cybersecurity.
• Consultative selling approach and customer enablement.
• Deal closing and Account Management in Compliance or Cybersecurity B2B sales.
• HubSpot proficiency is required.
• Utilizing data analytics and AI tools such as ChatGPT and Apollo.
• Strategic client engagement, upselling, and account expansion.
• Collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
Job Duties:
• Consultative Approach: Being comfortable with consulting and helping, not selling. IntelliGRC Account Managers often help, consult, educate, and advise throughout a sales call, illuminating the intelligence of our team and our product. This consultative sales approach frequently evolves into business development advice, compliance implementation recommendations, strategic business growth, and even revenue-generating techniques.
• Net New Deal Closure: Account Managers are provided with warm leads and manage the customer from day one to forever. Each account is your book of business. The Account Manager is responsible for closing the initial deal(s), managing renewals, and generating additional tenants.
• Client Relationship Management: Proactively manage customer accounts, ensuring high client satisfaction, engagement, and long-term retention.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to coordinate customer engagements, share insights, and deliver seamless, personalized client experiences.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly track customer health, retention rates, renewal forecasts, and growth metrics using HubSpot analytics.
