Your Role:
As an Aviation Maintenance Technician, you will join the MRO and Component Operations organization, supporting key programs such as military commercial derivatives, fighter aircraft, and aircraft component maintenance, repair, and overhaul. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reading Wire Schematics and Diagrams: Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings.
- Performing Electrical Checks: Conduct bonding, resistance, and continuity checks.
- Wire Installation: Execute proper wire installation with attention to detail.
- AC/DC Power Checks: Independently perform power checks.
- Using Electrical Tools: Utilize various electrical and measuring tools.
- Scheduled Maintenance: Perform maintenance tasks, defect rectification, modifications, and functional tests on Avionic and Electrical systems.
- Technical Issue Resolution: Highlight any technical issues to the lead and manager.
- Strive for efficiency and first-time quality in all tasks.
- Follow guidance from leads and senior SMEs.
- Execute duties while wearing the required safety equipment.
- Complete required training and maintain necessary certifications.
- Demonstrate a safe work ethic and perform detailed tool inventories daily.
- Communicate using basic computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company processes.
- Be flexible to ensure timely aircraft delivery.
- Ability to obtain Secret security Clearance
- Recent experience (within 1 year) as an Aircraft Mechanic.
- 6+ years of experience in reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Active Secret Clearance
- FAA certification in Airframe and/or Power Plant.
- Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and environmental processes.
- High school diploma or GED, or 6+ years of industry or military experience.
