As a Top Secret cleared Program Manager for this program, you will be working in an organization that's mission is to develop and operate the best possible software for critical national security enterprise applications. This organization leverages SCRUM and SAFE Agile software development methodology and strong Dev Ops practices.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. You will take projects from original concept through final implementation. You will develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, deliverables and status reports. You will be responsible for project tracking and analysis and will ensure adherence to quality standards. "This position is contingent upon award"
Responsibilities:
Execute Scrum methodologies for product lifecycle. Guide teams in the Agile methodology, supports team rules, facilitates product team's progress toward team goals, leads, facilitates meetings, eliminates blockers, promotes Agile quality practices, builds a high performing team, coordinates with other teams, supports ROM and level of estimate activities and provides team with feedback and means of improvement while serving as a resource to answer questions. Lead regular agile sessions to encourage collaboration, transparency, and innovation such as team scrums, sprint planning, user demonstrations. Advise government personnel on incremental changes that could lead to continuous improvement in products, services, and/or standardization of processes.
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others. Minimum of 8 years' experience recommended. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.
A typical day in the life on this program involves:
• Lead the planning and execution of complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery
• Coordinate cross functional teams, resources and stakeholders
• Monitor project progress, risks, and budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders and adjust plans as needed to mitigate risks and issues
• Analyze, design, and architect application solutions based on end user and technical requirements
• Provide program control and staffing and support government in programmatic documentation requests
• Ensure all contract team members adhere to relevant policies and ensure accountability for information and property and maintain on-site and after hours support for operations
Requirements:
• Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Education: Bachelor's degree
• In absence of degree, additional years of experience may be substituted for educational requirements
