Position Description:

CGI is seeking a SAP Technical Architect to support an SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation project for a large government contract. As a Technical Architect, you will be involved in every stage of the application lifecycle, from design to deployment.

The ideal candidate will serve as a system administrator and architect with a strong background in S/4HANA technical architecture, S/4HANA Private Cloud, Rise with SAP solution architecture, and BTP architecture. The candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge of authentication infrastructure, database administration and planning, SAP Solution Manager, technical monitoring and disaster recovery (DR) solutions implementation. Experience in SAP solution integration from a technical architecture perspective, c-ordinating with technical teams, client communication, and liaising with other vendors during build projects is essential.

This project is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that leverages areas such as Agile/Scrum methodology to quickly build solutions based on customer requirements. You are encouraged to learn more technologies and suggest improvements to business processes. You will be successful through your strong technical skills, proactive problem-solving, ability to learn quickly and excellent communication with our clients.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain S/4HANA technical architecture, including S/4HANA Private Cloud, Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Rise with SAP solutions.
Oversee database administration and planning tasks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Architect and manage SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions.
Implement and manage authentication infrastructure to ensure secure access to systems.
Utilize SAP Solution Manager for technical monitoring and management of SAP landscapes.
Develop and implement disaster recovery (DR) solutions to ensure business continuity.
Integrate SAP solutions from a technical architecture perspective, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility.
Communicate effectively with clients, understanding their requirements and providing technical solutions.
Liaise with other vendors during build projects to ensure successful integration and delivery of solutions.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
8+ years of experience.
Proven experience as a Technical Architect with a focus on S/4HANA technical architecture, including S/4HANA Private Cloud and Rise with SAP solutions.
Strong background in database administration, database planning, and SAP solution integration.
Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) architecture and authentication infrastructure.
Proficiency in using SAP Solution Manager for technical monitoring and management.
In-depth knowledge of technology components involved in SAP solutions.
Experience in developing and implementing disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical teams.
Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to liaise effectively with other vendors during build projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations.
Strong organizational skills.
Capable of self-learning new technologies in the UI space, working with minimum direction and supervision.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $111,600.00 - $241,600.00.
