AERMOR is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support the United States Government in operational testing and evaluation. The ideal candidate will possess strong engineering, analytical, and technical skills to assist in planning, executing, and reporting on Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon systems and related systems/sub systems' Initial Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E). This role involves working closely with government stakeholders to deliver operationally realistic, mission-critical assessments across nuclear, cyber, and other complex threat environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools to support operational test
  • Assist in the development of Modeling & Simulation (M&S) accreditation packages, including verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A) documentation.
  • Conduct analysis of current and future test and assessment capabilities to support flight and ground testing; identify requirements, capability gaps, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Track and manage program activities, schedules, and deliverables across multiple initiatives.
  • Support Integrated Test Teams and identify test opportunities during developmental phases.
  • Mapping test, verification, and validation activities to requirements using Integrated Decision Support Key (IDSK).
  • Apply system modeling for Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analysis
  • Apply and recommend analytical techniques, methodologies, and tools for testing.
  • Provide technical oversight and support to Government project managers, including design reviews and integration.
  • Review and provide feedback on program documentation.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
  • Analyze test results and system performance; assess system effectiveness, suitability, and mission capability.
  • Prepare technical reports, meeting minutes, presentation materials, and other deliverables per the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Develop and deliver DoD Architecture Framework products, technical/scientific reports, and critical task analysis documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, test & evaluation, or in a defense or aerospace environment.
  • Experience with DoD test and evaluation processes, and operational test planning.
  • Familiarity with M&S tools (Cameo) VV&A processes, and DOE methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of system-of-systems integration and interdependencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of producing high-quality reports and briefings.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Systems engineering (e.g., SysML).
  • Experience with AFOTEC, LDTO, and other DoD testing organizations.
