Job Description:
Nexagen is seeking a (Acquisition) Program Analyst to oversee procurement activities for a critical government program. This role involves managing both pre-award and post-award procurement functions, ensuring compliance with acquisition regulations, and supporting program leadership with expert contracting guidance. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to make a meaningful impact while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
NOTE : This is a remote position requiring up to 25% CONUS travel. - Estimate costs and develop Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
- Collaborate with acquisition centers to establish procurement timelines and key milestones.
- Develop comprehensive acquisition requirements packages and refine performance work statements (PWS).
- Conduct market research to support procurement planning and decision-making.
- Oversee all contract reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to program leadership, providing guidance on acquisition policies, contracting strategies, and procurement regulations.
- Ensure the effective execution of contract objectives, supporting the program's success.
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline.
- 8-10-yrs experience in procurement, acquisitions, or government contracting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of contract types, methods and techniques, including experience working with DFARS and government acquisition processes.
- 5-yrs experience working within a DoD program office or supporting a defense acquisition program.
- Proven experience developing Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) and acquisition requirements packages for government contracts.
