Manages the logistics movement, distribution and storage of supplies and materials. Plans routes, analyzes budgets, and processes shipments. Designs and analyzes the logistics processes and operational solutions used in distributing those goods and services.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and evaluates the effectiveness of all aspects of methods of distribution with the goal of improving operational efficiency
  • Advises management on logistics topics and proposes logistics solutions
  • Performs complex tasks typically following established processes
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions
  • Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies

Qualifications

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Able to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Shall be familiar with US Army parts ordering and disposition program
  • US Army T-TRAX system knowledge preferred.
