As a Prime Government Contractor for an Army Government contract, we are currently searching for a talented, professional Network Engineer in Overland, MO. We are looking for a resource with Network Engineering experience.

About the Job

You will be providing Network Support Services to meet current and emerging operational requirements for the U.S. Army Media Distribution Division (USAPMDD) in Overland, Mo. As a Network Engineer you will be

  • Updating and maintaining network diagrams.
  • Configure all network devices (Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Cisco WiFi access points, Cisco WiFi controllers) to be compliant with STIG/SRG settings.
  • Configure all network devices (Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Cisco WiFi access points, Cisco WiFi controllers) for day-to-day operations.
  • Configure and manage VPN access on firewall.
  • Configure and manage firepower.
  • Troubleshoot operations impacting outages.
  • Open Cisco TAC cases as needed.
  • Open VMware TAC cases as needed.
  • Work with other on-prem teams to isolate issues.
  • Implement recommended remediation to restore network operations.
  • CISCO Firmware/Operating system upgrades
  • Support Cisco VoIP configuration/implementation.
  • Assist with tech refresh of end-of-life equipment.
  • Configure all VM's on-prem servers to be compliant with STIG/SRG settings.
  • Configure all on-prem servers for day-to-day operations to include (DHCP, Radius, ICE)
  • Implement recommended remediation to restore network operations.
  • Manage, configure, and STIG CISCO wireless controllers and access points.
  • Completing STIG reviews
  • Creating STIG checklists
  • Provide reporting/listings of issues to ISO/ISSO as requested.

Job Requirements

  • CCNA Certified
  • STIG Viewer or Other related STIG tools
  • Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • VCenter, VMWARE, and EXSI configuration
  • Knowledgeable of Windows Operating Systems
  • Knowledgeable of CISCO configurations of firewall, firepower, switches, servers, wireless access points/controllers, DHCP, Radius, Cert Authentication, LDAP, and VPN
  • Secret Clearance
