Software Engineer (Container and Cloud Computing)

Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support
Software Engineer (Container and Cloud Computing) Requirements:
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: (C, Python, Bash, C++, Java)
• Experience and/or knowledge of Containerization and/or Orchestration; of particular interest are Kubernetes or Docker or Podman
• Good working knowledge of Linux
Software Engineer (Container and Cloud Computing) Desired Skills:
• Containerization / Virtualization, Docker/Podman, Kubernetes,
• Software Defined Networking, Linux KVM, Redhat Linux, Bash Scripting, python, Docker Registry, gluster, Kubernetes Plugins like ISTIO, MetalLB, mutlus, flannel, coredns, haproxy, helm
• Git
• Agile process
• Integration and troubleshooting skills
• System and network programming a plus
• Experience with integration of software and systems
• Good communication skills
Software Engineer Additional Requirements:
• Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
• Candidate must have an active DoD Secret level security clearance to begin work.
• Proactive/self-starter. Task driven with ability to work independently.
• Team player that takes ownership and develops relationships that fosters team success.
