Telum Corporation is seeking a qualified Exercise Support Cell (ESC) Manager to supervise the ESC teams at Camp Mackall, NC, and Range 37 at Fort Liberty. The ESC Manager will oversee the Camp Mackall ESC Team, the Camp Mackall Logistics Specialist, the Range 37 ESC Team, and the Range 37 Weapons Specialist. This position will require attendance at coordination meetings and providing support as priorities are established by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and the Project Manager. The ESC Manager will ensure the efficient operation of all activities related to the training support infrastructure, including construction and maintenance tasks, ensuring that all resources are in place to meet mission requirements.
Security Clearance:
Valid Secret Security Clearance required.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the ESC teams at Camp Mackall and Range 37, ensuring efficient operation and support of training activities.
Attend coordination meetings and provide necessary input as priorities are set by the COR and Project Manager.
Oversee the Camp Mackall Logistics Specialist and the Range 37 Weapons Specialist to ensure all resources, materials, and personnel are aligned with mission requirements.
Manage and maintain accountability for equipment, supplies, and tools used in the training support operations.
Ensure the training infrastructure is maintained and repaired as required to support realistic and high-quality training environments.
Oversee and ensure proper weapons maintenance and repair support is provided at Range 37.
Provide leadership and guidance to the ESC teams, ensuring all team members are properly trained and prepared to perform their duties.
Qualifications:
Certification in Construction Management or at least two (2) years of experience in construction project management or equivalent experience (such as successful construction trade business ownership or management).
Subject matter expertise in all aspects of construction and facility maintenance operations.
Must hold and maintain a current Secret Security Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Ability to successfully pass a background check.
Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Strong leadership, multitasking, and communication skills.
Ability to manage and complete projects effectively within deadlines.
Proven experience in managing construction or maintenance operations, with a focus on training infrastructure support.
Environmental Conditions:
Ability to work in diverse environments, including extreme heat, cold, humidity, dampness, and noise.
Exposure to dust, fumes, smoke, gases, solvents, grease, flammable materials, electrical hazards, and uneven surfaces.
Tasks may involve working around machinery, moving objects, on ladders or scaffolding, at great heights, or below ground.
Ability to manage fatigue, vibration, and work collaboratively or independently as needed.
