Job Description

As Travel Coordinator for the project, you will have the opportunity to work on an exciting, high profile project and lead a vital function that will play a critical part in the success of the project.

• Arranges commercial and/or charter flights and accommodation for personnel traveling to/from site per the project schedule.
• Coordinates flight schedules and passenger movements;
• Provides daily and/or weekly reporting on site manpower and turnaround schedules;
• Resolves and addresses flight discrepancies and/or grievances;
• Researches and coordinates "best value" flight arrangements;
• Responds to broad spectrum of travel issues by email and telephone;
• Prepares travel reports, processes and delivers travel schedule as requested
• Assists and supports all other administrative duties as directed by the Travel Manager
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements

High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and two (2) years to four (4) years related experience Requires computer skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions.

Other Job Requirements

• Provide guidance to staff on authorized travel routes and approved modes of travel based on USG travel rules, regulations, policies, and entitlements.
• Scheduling / making flight reservations for CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• Coordinate the scheduling of hotel or base housing accommodations as applicable.
• Coordinate vehicles and scheduling pick-up and drop-off times.
• Operate USG vehicles to include large carpool vans and buses.
• Assist in processing of necessary documentation such as passport visas and other clearances.
• Communicate travel plans with travelers.
• Perform related administration functions.
