ASRC Federal Broadleaf Division is actively hiring a Cloud Security Engineer in support of our Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) program based out of Quantico VA.
Remote flexibility available! Telework offered with a requirement to be onsite up to two (2) days a week at Quantico Marine Corps Base VA.
Position Description: The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for assessing the organization's cloud implementations and security controls to determine whether they meet DoD and industry standards by conducting posture reviews of all Agency Cloud Systems.

Minimum Qualifications:
- At least five (5) Years - Experience with assessing, analyzing and implementing information assurance and security engineering systems in cloud environments
- Active Top-Secret Clearance REQUIRED, eligible to be upgraded to TS/SCI
- Associate's degree in information technology, Information Systems Management, Cyber Security, or equivalent experience
- Must meet DoD cloud certification equivalency and DD8140/DoD8570.01-M at the time of hire.
- Required (at least one of the following):
- IASAE level I (e.g., CASP CE, CISSP (or Associate or CSSLP))
- IAT Level II (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA +, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ or SSCP)
- IAM II (e.g., CAP, CISM or GSLC)
- Additional Certifications (Preferred)
- Multiple cloud certifications, Zscaler Certified Deployment Specialist, ZPA Certified Support Specialist and ZIA Certified Support Specialist Certifications
Required Skills:
- Experience in multi-cloud deployment (e.g. Azure, Amazon Web Services, EntraID)
- Experience validating system configurations to ensure the safety of information systems assets and protects information systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction
- Experience identifying, developing, and implementing mechanisms to detect security incidents to enhance compliance and support of the security standards and procedures
- Experience identifying, investigating and troubleshooting security issues and develops security solutions that address compliance requirements that can / do impact security
- Experience collaborating with Cloud Engineers to develop and implement effective cloud security strategies
- Experience maintaining detailed documentation and reports of all posture review activities, findings, and responses
- Experience providing subject matter expertise in systems security policies, standards/practices, protocols, and technologies
- Proven experience securing cloud environments using major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or DoD-specific cloud solutions, ensuring compliance with DoD cloud security requirements such as the DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG)
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, and risk management processes, ensuring effective implementation of security controls and compliance.
- Strong understanding of network security protocols, encryption methodologies, identity and access management (IAM), and multifactor authentication practices to protect sensitive DoD data.
- Provided daily/weekly/monthly reports to senior leadership on key indicators of cloud security
