Position: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Trainer
Location: Greater Boston, MA (Remote)
Length: 6+ months

Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled ERP Trainer to join a dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with strong writing and training expertise to contribute to an impactful supply chain transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing and delivering training content that enhances user understanding of complex ERP systems, particularly within supply chain functions. The role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams, including ERP Program Managers, development teams, and functional leads, to create engaging and effective training materials and documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
  • Develop, modify, and maintain ERP training materials and documentation related to supply chain processes, ensuring clarity and effectiveness for end users.
  • Collaborate with the ERP Program Manager, functional leads, and development teams to create new training content, job aids, and procedural documents.
  • Deliver both in-person and online training sessions to a diverse user group, tailoring the content to various skill levels and needs.
  • Support and guide the ERP user community by providing ongoing assistance, answering questions, and ensuring they understand system functionalities.
  • Create and maintain a training repository, ensuring it remains up to date with the latest procedures and materials.
  • Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to align training strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs, gather feedback, and continuously improve training content based on user needs and system updates.
  • Review and revise existing documentation to ensure it is current, accurate, and relevant to the user's needs.
  • Provide ongoing support for ERP system users and troubleshoot training-related challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience in systems training, documentation development, or a related field, with a focus on ERP systems (experience with supply chain ERP systems is preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP modules and business processes specific to supply chain operations, such as procurement, supplier management, receiving, and related areas.
  • Experience with procedural writing, creating end-user support documentation, and developing effective training content.
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and translate them into clear and concise training materials.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and simply.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to engage with learners and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt training methods to various learning styles and ensure successful knowledge transfer.
  • Experience with government acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS) is a plus.
  • Candidates must be a United States Citizen.
