Join our team as a Linux Systems Administrator, where you will support and manage a diverse mix of workstations, servers, and high-performance computing (HPC) clusters. We are looking for a skilled professional with a solid foundation in Linux administration and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. This position is fully on-site.

- Securely deploy and manage Linux workstations, servers, and HPC clusters.
- Administer local and remote filesystems efficiently.
- Automate tasks using shell scripting and Python.
- Manage security features, including firewalls and SELinux.
- Work with Ansible for system configuration and automation.
- Deploy and manage containerized environments using Docker or Podman.
- Maintain and optimize HPC clusters with tools such as Bright, Slurm, and xCAT.
- Configure and manage Linux networking and associated services.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices, company and agency policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation of plans, system configurations, and operational processes and procedures.

Required Experience
Required Qualifications
- Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:
- Associate's degree in related field with 1 to 2 years of related experience or equivalent experience
- Bachelors degree or higher in related field with 5 to 8 years of related experience or equivalent experience
- Strong experience with Linux system administration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Knowledge of security best practices for Linux environments.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI. Must be able to obtain and maintain a (CI) Scope Polygraph within 180 days of hire.
- CompTIA Security+ CE, ISC2 SSCP, or equivalent baseline security certification.
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
Preferred Qualifications
- RHCSA, Linux+, or equivalent certification.
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, shell scripting, Python, etc.).
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker, Podman, and Apptainer.
- Experience managing HPC clusters using Bright, Slurm, and/or xCAT.
- Strong networking experience in Linux environments.
- Cross-OS administration experience with Windows.
- Virtualization experience with VMWare or Nutanix.
- Active TS//SCI clearance with a current CI Scope Polygraph.
