About the Role
The Senior Federal Pricing Specialist plays a key support role to our contract specialists and sales teams by providing expertise in developing pricing strategies for federal government contracts. They assist in the preparation of cost proposals, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and help contract specialists interpret complex pricing data. This role conducts cost analyses, creates pricing models, and ensures that all pricing proposals are both competitive and compliant with government requirements. Additionally, they work closely with contract specialists and sales teams to address pricing concerns, support negotiation strategies, and offer guidance on pricing adjustments throughout the lifecycle of contracts, ensuring smooth and accurate contract execution. They are considered an expert in their field and are a key member of our Program Management Office.
The Senior Federal Pricing Specialist works with designated Business Development, Finance, Contracts, and/or Proposal Manager(s) when developing CONUS and/or OCONUS cost/pricing solutions (typically FFP, FPLOE, CPAF, CPFF, T&M, or LH) and responding to time sensitive requirements of Federal Government or Prime Contractors’ requests for proposal, request for Quote, Requests for Pricing, or other cost/pricing related submissions.

Core Work Hours: 9 AM to 3 PM Eastern
Responsibilities
• Develops prime and subcontract cost/pricing proposals compliant for DoD/Federal Agency contracts utilizing existing cost/pricing models
• Develops new cost/pricing models for all phases of the proposal process from proposal strategy through negotiations and execution
• Develops sanitized and un-sanitized cost/pricing narratives/volumes of proposals, to include all required descriptions of direct and indirect costs and the proposed pricing buildup process
• Develops Excel spreadsheets to meet the Government/Prime/Commercial client's cost/pricing requirements
• Ensures that cost/price proposals are submitted in accordance with company policies, Government oversight organization (e.g., DCAA) policies, and the requirements of the solicitation
• Supports cost audits as required by Prime contractors, the Government, and/or DCAA/DCMA
• Writes Pricing Narrative for Price/Cost Proposal Volumes
• Performs other tasks as required by the OSC office
Required Qualifications/Education and Experience
• US Citizenship required
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline;
o Masters' highly preferred;
o Or the equivalent in experience
• Must have 10 or more years of DoD Contracts Pricing experience reflecting increasing responsibilities and working with others
o Or ten years of Contract Vehicle Pricing experience at the IDIQ and Task Order level, with at least six years being task order pricing experience
• Must have successfully developed DoD CONUS and OCONUS cost analysis and pricing models over the last three years,
• Must have worked for a federal IT services company with revenue exceeding $50 million per year over the last three years,
• Must be able to do labor category (LCAT) mapping
• Must have experience pricing for CONUS and OCONUS contracts
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with Microsoft Word
