Responsibilities

Arcfield is looking for a Business Operations Analyst to join our team to provide business and acquisition management support. The selected candidate will assist with the execution and monitoring of contract activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining the spend plan
  • Monitor and support the implementation of interagency agreements and associated funding packages
  • Provide strategic and programmatic plans and budget support, formulating and justifying the budget build
  • Maintain spend plans and funding profiles, ensuring reconciliation with actual expenditures
  • Coordinate with the acquisition management team to provide business operations and financial reporting
  • Provide and maintain recommendations for SOPs
  • Become aware and knowledgeable of other financial management areas' business processes and activities, and foster best practice sharing/implementation
  • Continually interface with Sponsor leadership
  • Assist the Sponsor with monitoring status of contract activities to ensure timely completion and compliance
  • Assist the Sponsor officers with the execution of funds within the portfolio

Qualifications

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in a business and/or technical discipline, e.g., Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, or Systems Engineering
  • BS 8-10, MS, 6-8, PhD 3-5
  • Proven experience supporting financial-related activities for Government organizations including spend plans, financial execution, strategy, etc.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate financial data to resolve inconsistencies, identify key issues, and propose solutions.
  • Experience developing and implementing long-range plans to accomplish organizations goals
  • Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated excellent writing and ability to craft a clear concise request for funding and responses to taskings
  • Prior experience with tracking progress of interagency agreements through the acceptance process
  • Proven experience reviewing Program Funding Requests.
  • Demonstrated experience with drafting SOPs, training materials, templates, and business tools to enhance knowledge and improve business operations.
  • Knowledge on Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) tracking and resolution on contracts and interagency agreements.
  • Experience with responding to data calls for action.

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
