FIAR Analyst - Clearance Required

Job Description:

We are seeking a Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) Analyst to provide support to COMNAVSURFPAC by gathering information and data, conducting analysis and advising on appropriate courses of action for business operations improvement.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide support to accomplish MICP and FIAR programs' objectives towards the goals established by the Secretary of the Navy
• Perform test procedures and evaluate results based on prescribed internal control testing plan
• Review requested Key Supporting Documents (KSDs) for completeness and accuracy
• Provide and upload testing results and required KSDs to requesting activity using designated tools and systems on set deadlines
• Gather information and documentation to prepare discussions to brief CNSP process owners on internal controls and their effectiveness

Here's what you need:

• 10+ years of direct working experience supporting DoD accounting
• Experience with Continuous Process Improvement principles and tools
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong Customer Service skills
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude
• Ability to work under direction and independently, be self-motivated, and result oriented
• Ability to multi-task and organize work and schedules to adjust to multiple and evolving priorities
• Detail-oriented and exhibit creative problem-solving skills
• Skilled with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)

Bonus points if you have:

• US Navy experience as a Supply Officer or Senior Enlisted
• Lean Sigma Six or PMP

Security Clearance:

• Active Secret Clearance required

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Logistics
