This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

Job Description

Calling all former Air Advisors, Schedulers, and Air Force Training Specialists! HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Air Advisor Training Support Specialist to come join our HII team supporting training requirements and missions at AFCENT HQ, in Sumter, SC.

The Air Advisor Training Support Specialist will provide comprehensive training support and coordination for military personnel deployment preparation, focusing on theater entry requirements, pre-deployment training, and equipment validation across multiple agencies and units.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Training Coordination and Support

  • Coordinate pre-deployment training requirements with COCOM, AF Major Commands, and worldwide AF units
  • Support deploying Airmen in Joint Expeditionary Tasking (JET) and Individual Augmentee (IA) assignments
  • Validate theater entry requirements for standard and non-standard forces
  • Provide continuous reachback support to deployers and Unit Deployment Managers (UDMs)

Systems and Documentation Management

  • Utilize JOPES/DCAPES, personnel websites, and secure communication systems
  • Research and manage RFF, Force Tracking Numbers, Joint Manning Documents, and Unit Line Numbers
  • Maintain and update equipment listings in AFFORGEN Connect
  • Process pre-deployment training waivers and exemption requests

Training Program Development

  • Support Air Education and Training Command with training analysis studies
  • Update Expeditionary Readiness Training FRAGOs
  • Develop and manage equipment listings for JET and IA airmen
  • Coordinate combat skills training schedules and requirements

Minimum Qualifications

0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in NSFTR and JSTO development
  • 1+ years of experience in RFF, FTNs, Joint Manning Documents, and ULNs management
  • 1+ years of experience at the NAF or higher level
  • Active Top Secret DOD security clearance
  • Strong background in staff officer / action officer functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in tasker management and briefing preparation

  • Air Advisor and ISD experience
  • Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility (current and active)
  • Experience with security cooperation operations
  • Knowledge of Department of State requirements
  • Advanced degree in relevant field
