ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Extensive experience in AEGIS, AEGIS BMD, Ship Self Defense Systems (SSDS), and Integrated Combat Systems (ICS).
• Focus on developing and implementing secure, efficient test data transfer solutions between naval test sites to support combat system certification and fleet readiness.
• The ability to lead efforts in test data management, site-to-site data transmission, and infrastructure improvements.
• Leading the development and implementation of secure and efficient test data transfer solutions between Naval Land Based Test and Training Sites and other government facilities.
• Optimizing data storage, retrieval, and transmission processes, ensuring compliance with DoD network security protocols and data governance policies.
• Integrating best practices for data integrity, cybersecurity, and interoperability across multiple test environments.
• Engineering and integration of AEGIS, AEGIS BMD, SSDS, and ICS test sites, supporting virtualization and automation efforts to enhance test capabilities.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSURE:
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's from an accredited college or university in engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline and 8 years of recent Surface Combatant Weapons System experience, with established expertise in strategic planning, design, engineering, installation, activation, and integration of complex new Land Based Test/Training capabilities, and surface combatant modernization OR 10 years of Surface Combatant-related Surface Combatant experience can substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in:
o Combat systems
o Weapons systems
o System interfaces, facility combat system configuration
o System and site networks
o Distributed systems
o Fiber distribution systems
• Experience directing junior personnel
• Must have a DOD Secret security clearance

• The Sr. Systems Engineer shall possess the following strengths:

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE:

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.
