This position is for a Robotics Controls Engineer supporting the entire Courtland site operations, including integration and test (AI&T) operations. This position could require some travel and support to other manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include, but not limited to leading projects and maintenance of various robotic equipment.

Other primary responsibilities will include:

• Interface with various functional teams to bid, install, program, train and maintain robotic equipment. Examples include, suppliers, subcontracts, production operations, engineering, Quality, facilities, government customers and others.
• Provide on-site programming support for various equipment.
• Designing manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
• Designing of machine layout within plant facilities to ensure most efficient production capabilities.
• Adapting machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
• Developing manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques.
• Providing guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Assisting technicians, manufacturing engineers and others in process control, training and development.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience implementing new software, tooling and processes to dial in efficiencies, engineering changes and/or lessons learned.

- Experience working with stakeholders to implement new solutions.

- Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment and document processes into SOP's for knowledge transfer.

- Experience performing maintenance on equipment.

- Experience with AEROBOTIX robotic equipment
Desired Skills:
Experience programming FANUC controllers.

Experience with automated paint booths including robotic inspection techniques, including: laser and structured light methods.

Programming experience with the following controllers: Allen Bradley CompactLogix, Universal Robots UR 10e, Harness Builder software
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
