Description:You will be the Manufacturing Engineering Manager For the GMLRS program at Missiles and Fire Control - Camden Operations. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer, and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures, and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA, and dozens of foreign allies.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the design and implementation of manufacturing processes for existing production and development programs to fully satisfy engineering and performance requirements in Camden. Your responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing the development and review of GMLRS elements of the manufacturing process including, but not limited to, assembly sequencing, work instructions, fabrication, installation, and prove-out of designed tools, selection of required hand tools, and definition of finishing and marking methodologies
• Resolving manufacturing issues
• Staffing, training, and development of GMLRS personnel
• Managing capital planning activities and the acquisition of manufacturing equipment
• Coordinating and supervising continuous improvement activities with additional functional groups

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
- Proven management abilities leading engineering groups
- Working knowledge of common assembly and fabrication methods (threaded fasteners, rivets, welding, bonding, machining. etc.)
- Familiarity with common finishing techniques (conversion coating, primers, CARC coating, and application of common missile coatings)
- Knowledgeable of OSHA requirements
- MS Office suite proficiency
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance at the secret level
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Familiar with the SAP ERP system
- Experienced in the application of mistake-proofing methodologies
- Green-belt certification
