Are you interested in continuing your career in Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa/AFRICOM in a mission focused environment? We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of CJTF-HOA mission objectives.
Venatore has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed Computer Support Administrator (CSA). This operationally focused position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa/AFRICOM (CJTF-HOA), located overseas at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Africa.
Responsibilities Include:
· Install, configure, maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair desktop computer systems, hardware, software, and computer peripherals such as printers.
· Provide Tier II level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
· Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers.
· Remove old equipment and perform data migration to new machines.
· Provide remote support and/or travel to customer servers and sites as required.
· PowerShell script development to simplify and automate common system administration and configuration processes.
· Proficiency in database management, security protocols, and networking skills.
· Maintenance of Multifunction Devices MFDs and computer hardware repair.
· May mentor or train other CSAs.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
· Currently hold an active Secret Clearance and be able to maintain it.
· BA/BS + 3 years recent specialized, or AA/AS +7 years recent specialized, or a major certification +7 years recent specialized, or 11 years of recent specialized experience.
· Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification OR Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows 10.
· CompTIA Security + or equivalent (IAT Level II or greater).
· Understanding of Active Directory and DNS.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a team player mindset.
Desired Qualifications
· ITIL v3 – Foundation.
· Prior military experience.
