• Provide senior system administration services from 0730 - 1630 daily for normal Government workdays, excluding Government holidays and OPM announced closings.
• Support services may be required outside these core hours for recovery and scheduled monthly maintenance actions. In order to balance total support hours, a reduction in core support hours will be granted to compensate for support required outside of normal core hour requirements.
• Maintain computer security in accordance with the DoDEA IT Automated Information System Security Plan.
• Provide Tier III expert support of the DoDEA-wide e-mail system.
• Engineer and manage enterprise service requirements impacting IT servers, storage and Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP).
• Perform systems implementation analysis, providing expert recommendation to Government using best industry practices with efficiencies. -Install, maintain, troubleshoot, administer, upgrade, and server system hardware. Determine the server that best meets the needs of the Government, as requested.
• Create data retention, backup process and plans for the restoration of data; meeting security, configuration and performance goals.
• Maintain DODEA enterprise software configuration standards.
• Scheduling system downtime for maintenance and restore system integrity.
• Manage the warranty and repair of enterprise equipment.
• Proactively manage the reliability and uptime of all enterprise IT resources.
• Perform updates and patches on all enterprise IT resources
