This Program Management position is a high visibility and strategic responsibility within the company. Reporting to Senior Program Management, this position will manage government contracts to ensure that contractual obligations are met regarding on-time delivery of products, status and costing reports, time and cost to completion analysis and reporting, and other vital contractual requirements. This role serves as a Company liaison with the customer.
Clearance Requirements: A U.S. Security Clearance may be required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Specific Job Duties shall include but not be limited to:
· Manage programs for Sonar Transducers and other Government programs.
· Effectively plan and deliver all Program deliverables on time, at or below budget.
· Identify program risks and develop and implement mitigation plan(s)
· Solid understanding of and ability to calculate Percentage Completion, Estimates to Complete, and Estimate at Completion.
· Invoicing Customers as soon as eligible under contract terms (both for material milestones and shipments) and assuring timely collection of these billings.
· Reporting on all aspects of assigned programs in real time.
· Have solid awareness, understanding, and sound judgment regarding items that affect the timeline, vendor payment, and customer payment schedule and the ability to manage this in the Company’s best interest as it relates to the individual programs.
· Collaborate and communicate effectively and regularly with all functional organizations, including Senior Management, Accounting, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
· Be the primary point of contact with assigned customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
· Government program management is essential.
· Strong computer skills and experience with office management and communication software.
· Ability to understand statistical data and mathematical concepts and how to apply them to Program Management Processes.
· Excellent leadership and developmental skills: Know when to lead and when to follow.
· Open mind and willingness to learn new aspects associated with electroacoustic products.
· Reliable and trustworthy.
· Effective collaboration skills.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to comprehend complex language, theories and methodologies, and negotiation strategies.
· Strong time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience using MRP/ERP Systems.
· Experience with ISO-governed processes and systems.
· Experience with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and EAR.
· Experience with related industries, products, and customer base.
