ManTech seeks a motivated, mission-oriented Cyber Systems Analyst in the Washington DC area.
As a Cyber Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for providing full time support to the Department of Energy (DOE) customer. You will be part of team of Cyber Security Professionals, Systems Engineers, Database Administrators and Systems Administrators Responsibilities for supporting operations to maintain and upgrade their ManTech Sentris implementation (a client / server application), using best practices from cloud implementations to quickly build, test, validate, deploy, and maintain the customer's implementation, including all available Sentris Feature Packs, SIMS Software databases, underlying Microsoft platforms, and any custom integrations developed for the customer.

As a Cyber Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for providing full time support to the Department of Energy (DOE) customer. You will be part of team of Cyber Security Professionals, Systems Engineers, Database Administrators and Systems Administrators Responsibilities for supporting operations to maintain and upgrade their ManTech Sentris implementation (a client / server application), using best practices from cloud implementations to quickly build, test, validate, deploy, and maintain the customer's implementation, including all available Sentris Feature Packs, SIMS Software databases, underlying Microsoft platforms, and any custom integrations developed for the customer.
Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Maintaining/troubleshooting customer Windows servers and workstations, both on-site and remotely that will be hosting Sentris and SIMs applications.
- Performing Windows System Administrative support to include adding and removing users, performing backups, installing software, monitoring systems, and assisting users daily.
- Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and questions.
- Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
- Properly escalating unresolved queries to the next level of support.
- Tracking, routing, and redirecting problems to correct resources.
- Learning fundamental operations of commonly used software and hardware equipment.
- Writing and editing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Accurately logging all tickets using the defined tracking software.
- Walking customers through the problem-solving process.
- Following up with customers, providing feedback, and seeing problems through to resolution.
- Ensuring proper incident and request recording, documentation, and closure.
- Day-to-day coordinating and administrating tasks by ensuring quality and productivity standards are maintained while meeting customer schedules.
- Utilizing excellent customer service skills and exceeding customer expectations.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or 7 years directly related experience
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required (Security+ CE) within 6 months of hire
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2019/2022.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2019/2022 Servers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2019.
- Sentris experience, or complete Sentris training within 90 days of Hire.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications for support, reporting and documentation.
- Good problem-solving skills: ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.
Preferred Requirements:
- IT technical knowledge and experience
- Experience identifying and performing schedule risk analysis
- Experience establishing/maintaining schedule templates, processes, and procedures
- Sentris Engineering Trained
Clearance Requirements:
- US Citizenship required and active SSBI Top Secret adjudicated within the last 5 years. Candidate will be submitted for SCI clearance.
- Reviews, and tests for the absence of any illegal drug will be conducted by the employer and a background investigation by the Federal government may be required to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and that subsequent reinvestigations may be required. Successful completion of a counterintelligence evaluation may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75%
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office.
- The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
