Manage the procurement and administration of subcontractor agreements, ensuring compliance, timely execution, and successful project outcomes, while also supporting cost control and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities:
* Subcontract Management:
* Drafts, reviews, and administers subcontract agreements.
* Evaluates complex terms and conditions and issue FFP, T&M and Cost Plus type subcontracts
* Procures and administers purchase orders and subcontracts for goods and services, as requested from Project personnel and maintains records for same per established procedures, filing
* Ensures compliance with contractual terms, company policies, and legal standards.
* Assists in negotiations of subcontract terms and conditions.
* Monitors subcontractor performance and addressing issues.
* Manages subcontract change orders and closeout activities.
* Maintains accurate subcontract records and documentation.
* Coordination and Communication:
* Serves as a liaison between the program team and subcontractors.
* Coordinates with project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
* Participates in the capture process, including pricing and scheduling strategy.
* Provides advice and interpretation of subcontract requirements.
* Procurement Support:
* Assesses needs and obtains agreements to fill those needs.
* Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions.
* Evaluates proposals and selects subcontractors.
* Prepares and issues requests for information/quote/proposal and subcontract awards.
* Other Duties:
* Supports audits and reviews of subcontract files.
* Ensures timely and accurate closeout of subcontracts.
* May provide guidance and work with leadership to less-experienced subcontract administrators.
Requirements:
* Bachelors' Degree
* Minimum 3 Years Experience
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
* Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.
* Attention to Detail: Ability to review documents thoroughly and ensure accuracy.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to subcontracts.
Salary:
* $65,000 - $80,000
Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to twenty-five (25) pounds as necessary.
