This is a contract to hire Senior Server Operating System Engineer role located ON-SITE in Omaha, NE. The Senior Server Operating System Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to engineering, modernizing, integrating and administering enterprise level server architectures in Windows and Linux. The work will include deploying IaaS and PaaS capabilities to enable metrics and monitoring. Duration of assignment is 5 years, with eligibility to convert to full time employment after 9 months.
Qualifications
• Active Top-Secret clearance (with SCI eligibility)
• Intermediate level (or higher) Microsoft Windows Server or Redhat Linux certification
• 8 years of relevant Systems Engineering experience to include:
◦ Creating, sustaining, modernizing, and integrating Enterprise-wide server architectures in MS Windows Server 2019 (or later), RHEL 8 (or later) and other Linux variants.
◦ Active Directory, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), and Windows Server Update Service (WSUS)
◦ Redhat Satellite Server, Redhat Ansible Automation Platform, and Redhat Identity Manager
◦ Experience with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Identity and Access Management (IAM), DNS integration, and MFA integration
• Proficiency in IT infrastructure, software and system integration
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and team management skills
