Raytheon - Advance Products & Solution (APS) is seeking a Senior Production Program Manager (Senior Manager, Program Management) to support a highly visible program area within the Radio Frequency (RF) Solutions Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).

This role requires 100% ONSITE engagement from one of the listed sites: El Segundo, CA, McKinney, TX, or Forest, MS

What You Will Do
  • Drive strategic planning efforts
  • Oversee profit and loss (P&L) (including Estimate at Completion EAC inputs) to ensure that sales, profit, and cash targets are achieved
  • Develop/execute program growth strategies for domestic and international activity
  • Manage risk, opportunity, cost, quality and schedule performance
  • Guide continuous improvement (CORE) initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality
  • Direct all program phases from inception through completion
  • Ensure program performance and adherence to program plans, schedules and budgets
  • Support domestic travel as needed


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant program/project management experience ( to include supporting the following areas: transition to production, production and/or sustainment programs OR leading engineering, project/program management, or manufacturing teams, etc)
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs using program management tools such as: Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, Scope Board, or similar business processes
  • An active and transferable Secret level U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance


Qualifications We Prefer
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to facilitate teamwork across functions
  • Demonstrated results creating and maintaining thorough executive level relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, primes and internal peers
  • Ability to influence and motivate in a matrix organization
  • Program Management Certification level 4 or 5 certification
  • Oversight and monitoring of supplier performance; develop preventive and corrective actions as necessary
  • Experience working oversight and monitoring supplier(s) performance; develop preventive and corrective actions as necessary
  • Experience working with U.S. Army, Navy, or other customers on government programs (large/complex) with direct customer interfaces, both internal and external
  • Experience implementing execution, coordination, and growth strategies

The salary range for this role is 137,000 USD - 275,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
