Location: Cambridge, MA (Onsite)

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a motivated and reliable Security Administrator to join their team. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with a passion for security and customer service. As a key member of the Industrial Security team, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations related to document control, mail services, and visitor management. The ideal candidate will have experience in security procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with security protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Document Control and Mail Services team and the Visitor Service Center.
  • Manage the shipping and receiving of classified material, ensuring the accurate maintenance of the classified accountability system.
  • Review and process visitor registrations, conduct background checks, and ensure compliance with security requirements.
  • Prepare and issue visitor badges, ensuring proper tracking and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support in applying and enforcing security policies, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a security-related field is preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a security-related field (2-4 years of experience in Industrial Security is strongly preferred).
  • Strong experience in applying and enforcing security policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with visitor management software and security information databases.
  • Experience with enforcing National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) standards is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DISS/NBIS, NISS, and SIMS systems is preferred.
  • Due to the nature of the work, an active Secret clearance is required.
  • Candidates must be a United States Citizen.
