Target Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

About The Role
The Corp-DDS team is looking for a mid-level to Senior Data Flow Engineer to join our team who would be responsible for the following:
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex, large-scale data flows to ensure seamless operations.
- Evaluate and optimize existing data flows to enhance performance and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Provide strategic recommendations on future hardware and software needs to support expanding system performance requirements.
- Deliver technical support in a Linux environment, including software installations, troubleshooting, and network-related problem resolution.
- Manage and support Virtual Systems and NiagaraFiles (NiFi) applications to maintain efficient dataflow operations.
- Analyze and resolve data formatting or software issues affecting data flows by collaborating with Engineers and Developers.
- Participate in on-call support rotations (approximately every 6-8 weeks) with occasional on-site visits to address emergency system issues.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- 6+ years of data flow experience
- Minimum working 10 year's working within the Intelligence Community working with mission systems and mission data formats
- Experience configuring and managing Linux Operating Systems
- Knowledge and experience with Networking protocols such as HTTPS, SFTP, etc.
- Experience providing customer support to assist users and customers with data flow questions and concerns.
- Experience in creating, documenting and implementing data flow requirements
- Experience in developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid-to-large scale systems.
- Experience in developing technical documentation for issues and/or training.
- Experience in leading agile and/or spiral development models.
- Experience developing solutions integrating and extending COTS products.
- Experience integrating COTS and GOTS products from multiple vendors.
- Knowledge and experience with developing distributed storage routing and querying algorithms.
- Experience implementing storage area networks, data warehouses and data marts.
- Experience optimizing storage, retrieval, back-up, and retention strategies across globally distributed, high throughput, text and multimedia storage and retrieval systems.
- Experience developing and deploying storage within clustered or cloud environments.
- Experience interacting in a cross-Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.
- Experience planning and integrating secure compliant solutions based on legal, policy, and compliance directives.
- Knowledge and experience with internals of HDFS, HADOOP, and/or HBase/Accumulo BIG TABLE.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
