About The Role
Peraton is seeking a Cloud Administrator to support the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3. This role is essential to ensuring the operational effectiveness of USSOCOM's global IT enterprise.

About SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM)
This contract provides Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services to support USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and deployed forces. The mission includes maintaining Network Operations (NetOps), system infrastructure, end-user support, configuration management, cybersecurity, and more in a 24/7 global operational environment.

About SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM)
This contract provides Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services to support USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and deployed forces. The mission includes maintaining Network Operations (NetOps), system infrastructure, end-user support, configuration management, cybersecurity, and more in a 24/7 global operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain operating system software, patches, and upgrades within AWS.
- Support the development and deployment of AWS instances based on system and mission requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to instances, software, and networking.
- Configure, optimize, tune, and monitor operating system performance.
- Maintain, update, and refine system documentation.
- Collaborate with cloud architects, network engineers, and IT personnel to ensure effective cloud system integration.
- Manage systems using identity and access management (IAM), security information and event management (SIEM) tools (e.g., Splunk), endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and other Zero Trust security tools.
- Support hybrid multi-cloud environments by maintaining security protocols, monitoring connectivity, and utilizing reporting tools.
- Some positions may require a non-traditional work schedule to support customer needs.
Qualifications
Required Quals
- A DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level is required.
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA or High School Diploma and 12 years of experience
- DoD IAT Level II certification required
- Minimum one year of experience in systems engineering, cloud computing, security, or application programming (e.g., Java, C++).
