As a Material Handler Associate in Fort Worth, TX, you will play a crucial role in supporting the U.S. Navy worldwide by handling Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). As a Material Handler Associate in Fort Worth, TX, you will play a crucial role in supporting the U.S. Navy worldwide by handling Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Perform general warehouse tasks, including preventative maintenance, refurbishing, shipping, and receiving of PPE.
- Contribute to the smooth operations of the warehouse and support the U.S. Navy's mission.
- Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient and accurate handling of materials.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Graduate Equivalent Degree (GED)
- 1+ years of logistic, warehouse or related work experience
- Possess a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Entry-level warehouse experience is a plus.
- Previous experience working with Personal Protective Equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems
- Experience utilizing handheld scanners preferred
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices in an industrial/warehouse environment
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 20 plus lbs. and maintain continuous mobility throughout the warehouse.
- Comfortable working in an industrial/warehouse environment on a daily basis.
