Position Summary:
ANSER is seeking an Application Developer to support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Infrastructure Modernization and Resilience (ODASD(IM&R)). This office is responsible for establishing the policy and providing the oversight for the Department of Defense's (DoD) real property assets and related services necessary to conduct military operations and readiness worldwide in a cost effective, safe, sustainable and environmentally sound manner. As part of a growing team within this office, you will support the Data Analytics and Integration Support (DAIS) Platform.

Position Summary:
ANSER is seeking an Application Developer to support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Infrastructure Modernization and Resilience (ODASD(IM&R)). As part of a growing team within this office, you will support the Data Analytics and Integration Support (DAIS) Platform.
- Application Re-Engineering Analysis and Agile Development using a Java runtime environment and tools
- Testing methodologies that support an Agile Development methodology
- Auditing, Compliance reporting, Code Documentation, and secure code practices
- Operations support to include debugging production issues
- Help Desk and Customer Support as needed
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Support application development for the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Infrastructure Modernization and Resilience (ODASD(IM&R))
- Work independently with application code, backend processing, and user interface development for a broad range of stakeholders, including DoD senior leadership
- Perform standardized testing at the unit, integration and systemic levels to ensure accuracy to requirements
- Analyze the Data Analytics and Integration Support (DAIS) platform for any application or architectural issues to ensure performance is maximized, industry standards are followed and Government enterprise architecture standards are being met
- Support related activities in managing the scope and milestones of the project and/or support of data warehousing, business analytics or ad hoc requests
- Ensure the project AGILE life cycle is being followed and best practices are being employed when writing code and managing tasks
- Use good cyber code practices to support safe and secure application development
- Resolve emerging issues with the system as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 7+ years of experience with overall application development
- Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong programming knowledge in SQL and JAVA
- Ability to maintain and develop APIs (application programming interface) for delivery of data into a data warehouse
- Exposure to DROOLS, Git, SOAPUI or related tools to support application development, business rule development and source code management
- DevOps Tools to support an AGILE methodology. Microsoft DEVOPS is preferred but will also consider JIRA and other tools supporting AGILE
- Experience with Python
