About The Role:
Are you motivated to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong analytical skills, independent critical thinking, and attention to detail? Sourceree is looking for a dynamic Senior Executive Assistant to support the Department of Defense (DoD) with the ability to analyze and understand the requirements of the office, ensure alignment with the tasking, and prepare, coordinate, and/or deliver formal and informal briefings to the Principal. Reporting to the Government Program Director, you'll play a key role in supporting collaborative decision-making, stakeholder engagement, budget planning (including preparing, analyzing budgets, monitoring fund execution), and delivering client products.

The role processes various forms of data input into the Microsoft Office tools (O365, Excel, MS Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.), databases, and other computer systems used by the office, tracking taskings, controlling workflow, and reporting in various formats.

Essential Responsibilities: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to prepare materials for briefings, presentations, and advising/sequencing meetings and key deliverables, often involving senior leadership.
• Monitor the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS), ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Prepare and proofread classified and unclassified documentation, adhering to DoD guidelines.
• Coordinate internal and external communications, ensuring timely responses to all inquiries.
• Support high-level meetings, managing agendas, tracking action items, and preparing meeting summaries.
• Assist in strategic planning and special projects, providing organizational and administrative support.
• Manage and prioritize the DASD’s calendar, ensuring efficient scheduling of meetings and events.
• Oversee travel logistics, including Defense Travel System (DTS) arrangements, and prepare travel reports.

Minimum Job Requirements
• Associate’s degree (A.A./A.S.) in Business Management, Management, or equivalent field. Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred.
• Eight (8) years’ DoD tenure/experience supporting senior executives in government environments.
• Two (2) years proficiency in managing schedules, travel, and logistics in classified environments, using DTS and CATMS systems.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience drafting and reviewing complex documents.
• Expertise in MS Office Suite (Word, MS Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration platforms like SharePoint.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive tasks.
• Travel requirements: < 5%
• Security Clearance: have at minimum a Secret Clearance, but up to a Top-Secret clearance as required.
