Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Contracts Administrator (Level 4) to join its team of qualified and diverse individuals supporting the Defense Systems Sector Contract Operations Organization. This position will be located on site in Baltimore, McLean, or another Northrop Grumman site may be considered, telecommuting is an option.

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Contracts Administrator (Level 4) to join its team of qualified and diverse individuals supporting the Defense Systems Sector Contract Operations Organization. This position will be located on site in Baltimore, McLean, or another Northrop Grumman site may be considered, telecommuting is an option.
The Contracts Professional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to effectively work with the management of other organizations (program management, subcontracts, business management, and supply chain management) as well as customer representatives
- Ability to work independently and make decisions, ensuring high levels of collaboration with stakeholder and subject matter experts
- Independently develop and collaborate with others as needed, to provide contract procedures and work instructions
- Support sector level objectives, special projects, sector communications, and developing positive relationships at all levels
- Experience in preparing and presenting briefings to senior level internal & external customers
- Initiate data calls and manage inputs to maximize the usefulness of the reports
- Coordinating, administrating, proposing, and negotiating, standard and non-standard contracts and agreements supporting various domestic and international customers / requirements, including DoD and other entities as required
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports and maintenance of contractual databases
- Duties may also include the preparation of proprietary information agreements, teaming agreements, and various types of memoranda as well as interface with internal functional and program organizations
- Advise management of contractual rights and obligations; compile and analyze data; and maintain the historical contractual information
Senior Principal Contract Administrator Basic Qualifications (Level 4):
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with 6 years in Contracts, Subcontracts, or Procurement Administration, or related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 4 years in Contracts, Subcontracts, or Procurement Administration, or related professional experience
- Knowledge and understanding of pricing principles and FAR/DFARS as well as associated Federal Contracting regulations
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite
Preferred Qualifications:
- M.B.A. or relevant graduate degree
- Familiarity with Northrop Grumman Contracts processes and procedures
- NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM and/or CCCM)
