Exercise Analyst

Key Role :

Advise and assist a military logistics command on exercise, contingency, and operational related events, providing analytical, technical, and logistical analysis and recommendations during the Joint Exercise Life Cycle ( JELC ) . Develop Plans of Action and Milestones ( POA & M ) within the Indo-Pacific Command ( INDOPACOM ) . C ond uct analysis during all phases of the JELC and provide technical recommendations that meet Theater Security Cooperation ( TSC ) and Training Readiness ( TR ) goals as defined within the command's task list and track changes in operational phases. Attend joint, bilateral, or multinational planning conferences, working groups, and con firm ation briefs to gather data, plan, and provide recommendations to U.S. government attendees on the c ond uct of military operations. Serve in the planning and integration capacity of the uniformed customer when required, make coordination with adjacent staff sections and subordinate units on the project lead or action officer's behalf, and serve as operational continuity until the conclusion of such operations as required. Manage Force Design, Force Experimentation, and Stand in Force Mission requirements, and provide recommendations on product, planning, and execution development updates to the staff as required.

Basic Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in exercise, operational, or contingency planning
  • 2+ years of experience in exercise, operational, or contingency planning, preparation, and coordination with adjacent components and HHQ Commands
  • Experience communicating complex data analysis topics to senior leaders and their respective staffs, and work with senior level staff members at the Joint or Combined level
  • Knowledge of military organization and culture of Joint U.S. Forces and partner allies in the Indo-Pacific
  • Knowledge of DoD networks for information gathering, including NIPR, SIPR, and CENTRIX
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED


Additional Qualifications :

  • Experience planning and coordinating training in the Indo-Pacific
  • Graduate of an Expeditionary Warfare School or Command and Staff College

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
