Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator at AEVEX Aerospace works closely with program management and with manufacturing to provide direction that ensures the project is organized, monitored, and completed according to schedule and on budget. They collaborate cross-functionally to manage the flow of communication, tracking, and status of the project processes.

Essential Functions

• Plans and coordinates work activities of the manufacturing team.
• Communicates and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure support, completion, and delivery of project builds.
• Manages program critical path to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
• Reviews project proposals and drawings to create manageable schedules and determine manpower requirements.
• Organizes manufacturing programs for more efficient workflow.
• Provides visibility to the team regarding priorities for overall focus.
• Creates necessary shop traveler paperwork and works with company ERP system.
• Manages risk and unknowns and looks for solutions.
• Communicates effectively with vendors and negotiates as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].
• Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.

Education / Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.

Experience

• 3+ yrs. project management/coordination experience preferred.

Security Clearance

• DOD secret clearance eligible.

AEVEX provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific location. The range of starting pay for this position is for the listed location only.

Salary Range

$29.87 - $33.87 USD
