The Project Coordinator will support the production, engineering, and project management team by overseeing administrative tasks, coordinating the schedule, budget, and ensuring resource availability and project deadlines are met.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Coordinator will support the production, engineering, and project management team by overseeing administrative tasks, coordinating the schedule, budget, and ensuring resource availability and project deadlines are met.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepare and maintain project management documents, such as travelers, project plans, project status reports, as directed by the Program Manager
- Acting as a liaison between project managers, engineers, production, and other departments making sure parts are ordered for jobs on time, costs are documented to stay on budget
- Support the program management department in identifying and communicating risks
- Assign tasks and controlling schedules
- Communicate the project's progress to team members and other stakeholders
- Organizing and attending stakeholder meetings
- Document processes and assist in process improvement
- Performs other duties as necessary and/or required
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma
- 2-5 years of experience performing responsibilities related to this role
- Familiarity with basic project management principles
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
- Ability to read CAD drawings
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Ongoing BS studies in STEM program preferred
- Familiarity with Solidworks
- Familiarity with PDM
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- Ability to identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
- Ability to move about a manufacturing facility.
