JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Contracts Administrator will play a key role in managing Platform Aerospace contracts. This position involves overseeing and administering company contracts and subcontracts, including organizing proposal preparation, and negotiating contract terms. Additionally, the Senior Contracts Administrator will review contract-related documents, such as teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, government and commercial contracts, licenses, and other compliance materials.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Contracts Administrator will play a key role in managing Platform Aerospace contracts. Additionally, the Senior Contracts Administrator will review contract-related documents, such as teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, government and commercial contracts, licenses, and other compliance materials.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer and manage company contracts, handling the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of government contracts and subcontracts.
- Offer leadership by applying industry best practices and provide reports to management on contract-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with government contracting regulations and company policies, providing guidance to internal teams on contractual obligations.
- Support Project Managers by interpreting contract terms and ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Aid in proposals for new business. Create appropriate approach and draft documentation to facilitate processes.
- Collaborates with BD to support contractual strategy in competitive bids
- Reviews RFPs, RFQs, and requests to identify key contract terms, risks, and compliance requirements
- Assists in preparing cost proposals, pricing strategies, and contractual response for government and subcontractor proposals
- Work in conjunction with interdisciplinary team to ensure contractual requirements are met as determined by established deliverables; ensure adherence to those deliverables; communicate milestones and commitments.
- Review, draft, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and teaming agreements.
- Manage contract documentation, communication, and compliance with deliverables.
- Provide comprehensive procurement support addressing contract terms, language, and relevant issues.
- Prepare negotiation and award documents for various contractual actions, ensuring alignment with solicitations, technical specifications, regulatory, and administrative requirements.
- Oversee the start-up and close-out process for assigned projects.
- Perform other duties as required
BASIC REQUIRMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a related business discipline with 8+ years of experience in contract management, particularly in federal contracting or an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
- Active security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a top-secret security clearance
- Extensive knowledge of government procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, writing and communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and all federal contract types, as well as contract management phases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar accounting/project management systems.
- Familiarity with classified contracting
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with customers, suppliers, and support personnel
- Experience in manufacturing (production) type contracts
- Experience with ITAR/EAR
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
- Ability to move about a manufacturing facility.
