ASE is looking for a Systems Architect to work in Honolulu, HI. The Systems Architect on the DOD USA INDOPACOM ITS2 Project plays a pivotal role in providing enterprise architecture support to the Director of the USINDOPACOM Command, Control, Communications, and Cyber Directorate (J6). This position is essential for guiding the strategic architectural direction informed by the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF). Responsibilities
The Systems Architect is responsible for offering subject matter expertise to plan and coordinate future capabilities that facilitate information sharing, collaboration, and interoperability within federated, franchised, or centralized business models. The role involves analyzing use cases and delivering architecture artifacts and recommendations. These contributions are critical to the production of DoDAF products that create enterprise architecture models and reports, particularly in the areas of Information Assurance (IA) and Cybersecurity.
Further responsibilities include developing and maintaining architecture Implementation Plans that support technical, operational, and governance requirements, encompassing integrated schedule updates and program and project milestones. The architect also analyzes alternatives and provides recommendations based on emergent technologies to enhance C4 architecture within the USINDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Additionally, the Systems Architect must compile and deliver a Monthly Status Report (MSR). This report includes a list of accomplishments, identification of any task issues, problem areas, and necessary actions required by the government, ensuring transparency and ongoing alignment with USINDOPACOM strategic objectives.

Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance
- IAW DoDM 8410.03, must meet intermediate proficiency level.
- Must possess ONE of the following 8570 IAM-I certifications:
- CAP (Certified Authorization Professional)
- Security+ CE
- CND (Certified Network Defender)
- Cloud+
- GSLC (GIAC Security Leadership Certification)
- HCISPP (Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner)
- Must have at least 3 years of general knowledge or experience with geographical combatant command(s) or similar theater-wide architectures and extensive relevant program management experience comparable to this requirement.
- Must have experience with IT project management and architecture development (i.e. DoDAF), preferably in a DoD environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
