The position is a direct report to the IPT Chief Engineer. The specific tasking follows.
- Create vision for sensor fusion functionality for both A/A and A/S capabilities on the F/A-18 and EA-18G
- Advance implementation of sensor fusion to support future effects chains, promote SA, and increase survivability
- Lead a team of government and contractor personnel to improve sensor fusion performance on the platform
- Modeling of sensor fusion performance to assess impacts of algorithm changes, sensor performance changes, and weapon performance changes
- Provide inputs, guidance, and requirements for modeling capability
- Data analysis of sensor fusion performance from flight test
- Oversee analysis strategies to include metrics and reporting
- Modeling and analysis of overall effects chain performance
- Modeling of sensor fusion performance to assess impacts of algorithm changes, sensor performance changes, and weapon performance changes
- Active member of the Solution train as an Initiative Owner working to flow value to the customer by verifying Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and participating in Program Increment (PI) Planning as well as helping team members throughout the PI and representing the customer
- Responsible for monitoring cost, schedule, and performance for multiple fusion efforts including existing and future IAs.
- Work with Boeing leadership and PMA 265 on future requirements development
- Serve as the Technical Point of Contact for Data Fusion work on the IDIQ contract with Boeing
- Must be willing and able to travel.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
