Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The Opportunity:
Join our dynamic team as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and play a crucial role in safeguarding critical information systems across multiple agencies. This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies and frameworks while contributing to national security efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance and maintain the security posture of assigned information systems, programs, and enclaves
- Develop and manage Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation packages using tools like ServiceNow, eMASS, or XACTA
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and STIG compliance checks
- Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including Security System Plans (SSPs)
- Establish and document cybersecurity policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Provide clear, non-technical translations of complex security configurations
- Generate reports on system assessment and authorization (A&A) status
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with DoD and agency-specific security directives
Qualifications:
Required:
- An active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph
- Security+ CE Certification
- 3-5 years in RMF and IA
- Extensive experience in cybersecurity and information system security
- Strong knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53, and other cybersecurity frameworks
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in information security, compliance, or system accreditation
Desired:
- CISSP or CISM certification
- Experience working across multiple agencies
