Systems Engineer
Location: Orlando, FL
Clearance Requirement: Active Secret
1 shift but must have 3rd shift availability as needed most likely end of year push
Contract will last until EOY with potential extensions and direct hire
The Systems Engineer (IT) will be responsible for:
• Technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Basic Qualifications :
• Linux Server Administration (RedHat and SLES) experience
• Windows Server and Desktop OS experience
• DoD IAT Level II certification (i.e. Sec+ CE)
• Knowledge and experience with scripting (Ex. Windows(PowerShell)/Linux(shell scripting)
• Prior experience in requirements and verification
• Ability to work third shift
REQUIRED Qualifications:
• Minimum 4 years’ experience required with all skills
• Highest priority skill is DoD IAT Level II certification (i.e. Sec+ CE), other mandatory requirements are as follows:
• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Linux Server Administration (RedHat and SLES) experience
• Windows Server and Desktop OS experience
• Knowledge and experience with scripting (Ex. Windows(PowerShell)/Linux(shell scripting)
• Prior experience in requirements and verification
