Logistics Operations and Plans Analyst

Key Role :

Provide analysis on units assigned to the Training Exercise and Execution Plan ( TEEP ) to specific exercises and the ability of the unit to execute or support the assigned exercise in multiple functions of logistics. Analyze supply usage, inventory positioning, logistics chain, internal or external distribution, supporting supply chain, and equipment asso cia ted with past exercises and contingencies. Review the current units assigned to exercises and contingencies and c ond uct a supply and maintenance posture analysis to determine what actions must be taken, and when, to best position the relevant unit to be prepared for deployment and mission execution. Analyze or recommend follow on logistical support, as well as preparatory actions and recommended asso cia ted lead time required for equipment to be mission cap able in time to deploy or execute said exercise or contingency. Provide consult ation on joint logistical integration, industry standard modernization, lateral support opportunities, and operational theater effects with strategic implications. Attend planning events, conferences, and meetings in developing the logistics concept of support. Identify gaps in capability and required adjustments to logistics concepts of support to account for environmental, equipment, personnel, and situational changes.

Basic Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in military logistics planning
  • 5+ years of experience with military logistics concepts, capabilities, functions of logistics, and force logistics capabilities
  • 5+ years of experience with supply and maintenance dependencies and logistics chain management, planning, and execution
  • Experience briefing and e nga ging in discussion at the Senior Executive or General Officer level
  • Experience using Micro sof t Office programs, including Excel, Word, or PowerPoint
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex data analysis topics to senior leaders
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree


Additional Qualifications :

  • Experience in the military as a Field Grade Officer
  • Completion of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training
  • Graduate of an Intermediate-level Formal School, including School of Advanced Warfighting, School of Advanced Military Studies, or Expeditionary Warfighting School, or Command and Staff School

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
