Position Overview
Veraxx Engineering Corporation, a By Light Company, is an engineering services company supplying modeling, simulation, and training solutions. Services include hardware, software, and system engineering, requirements assessments, system development, integration, testing, documentation, and customer support services. Veraxx has a high level of expertise in flight simulation hardware and software development, as well as computer architecture, tactical environments, interoperability (HLA/DIS), avionics systems, and real-time embedded systems. Veraxx is the OEM for the Marine Corps aircrew flight simulation interoperability network and tactical environments. Veraxx has recently won several long-term contracts to develop and upgrade domestic and international flight and aircrew training systems. We are currently looking for a Simulation Technician.

Responsibilities
- Perform electrical & mechanical assembly
- Electrical & mechanical troubleshooting
- Cable labeling
- Rack buildup
- Cable manufacturing
- Hardware QA
- Technical documentation
- Facilities modification
Required Experience/Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Degree
- 1-15 years of relevant experience
- Experience with:
- MS Office tools
- Computers
- Mechanical & electrical concepts
- Mechanical & electrical tools
- Basic AutoCAD knowledge/experience
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
- Hardware standards
- Advanced AutoCAD
- CompTIA A+/Network+ certifications
- Computer administration knowledge/experience
- Avionics knowledge/experience
- Networking knowledge/experience
Special Requirements/Security Clearance
- Candidates must be able to receive a Secret DOD clearance
- Up to 25% travel
